  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1 1/2 c. lukewarm milk
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 7 to 7 1/2 c. flour

Directions

    Combine warm water and yeast; add milk, sugar, salt, eggs and shortening.

    Add enough flour to make soft dough.

    Turn out on floured surface and knead until smooth.

    Let rise until double. Shape into rolls.

    Place into greased pans; let rise again.

    Bake at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes.

    These freeze well.
