- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 1/2 c. lukewarm milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 7 to 7 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Combine warm water and yeast; add milk, sugar, salt, eggs and shortening.

2Add enough flour to make soft dough.

3Turn out on floured surface and knead until smooth.

4Let rise until double. Shape into rolls.

5Place into greased pans; let rise again.

6Bake at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes.

7These freeze well.
