  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 15 oz. can or 1 2/3 c. kidney beans (undrained)
  • 16 oz. can whole tomatoes, cut up
  • 1 1/2 oz. pkg. chili seasoning mix
  • 10 oz. can Hungry Jack biscuits
  • 10 (1/2-inch) cubes sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 1/2 c. crushed corn chips

    Brown meat and pepper; drain.

    Add beans, tomatoes and seasoning mix.

    Heat until bubbly.

    Separate dough.

    Place cheese cube in each and fold over; seal well.

    Roll in butter; coat with crumbs.

    Arrange biscuits on top of mixture.

    Bake at 375° for 18 to 22 minutes until brown.

    Cook in 2-quart casserole.
