  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 2 c. shortening
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. oatmeal
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 4 c. corn flakes
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Mix the brown sugar, white sugar, shortening, eggs and vanilla together.

    In separate bowl, mix the flour, oatmeal, soda, corn flakes and salt.

    Combine both mixtures in a very large bowl. Roll into balls and bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes at 325°.
