- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 c. liquid shortening
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. quick oats
- 4 c. Rice Krispies
Directions

1Cream sugars and shortening.

2Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add salt, baking soda and flour and mix well.

3Stir in oats and Rice Krispies.

4Drop by level teaspoonfuls onto a cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 375°.

5Makes 14 dozen.
