- 1/2 c. dark syrup
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Directions

1In large saucepan, bring corn syrup and butter to a boil; stir well and remove from heat.

2Add chocolate; stir until melted, then add sugar, eggs and vanilla.

3Slowly blend in flour and nuts. Pour in greased and floured 9-inch cake pan.

4Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until done.

5Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
