- 2 cups cubed cooked ham
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 28 ounces diced tomatoes
- 16 ounces kidney beans
- 15 ounces black beans
- 15 ounces pinto beans
- 8 ounces picante sauce
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 12 cup water
- 2 14 ounces sliced black olives
- 1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
Directions

1In a large saucepan, cook the ham, onions and garlic in oil until tender.

2Stire in tomatoes, beans, picante sauce, tomato sauce and water (if desired).

3Bring to a boil.

4Stir in olives, bouillon, thyme, salt and pepper.

5Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 15-20 minutes.

6Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese if desired.
