  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Place sugar, corn syrup and water in heavy saucepan.

    Over medium heat, cook to hard ball stage (248°).
  3. 3
    Remove from heat and let stand until temperature drops to 220°, without stirring.
