   Cook sugar, Karo and water until it spins a thread.

   Pour half in egg whites and beat.

   Put back on fire and cook until it cracks (in cup of cold water).

   Then add to the egg whites and continue beating until it peaks on the beaters.

   Drop by spoon on waxed paper.
