  • 1/2 c. corn syrup
  • 2 egg whites
  • nuts (if desired)

    Cook the sugar, water and syrup until it cracks when put in cold water.

    Pour over beaten egg whites and beat.

    Add nuts. Beat until mixture becomes quite stiff.

    Drop on waxed paper using teaspoons.
