Directions

   Put sugar, white Karo, water and salt into pan and stir well. Cook, without stirring, to 148°.

   Beat egg whites until dry.

   Add small amount of hot mixture to egg whites.

   Keep adding until all Karo is mixed in whites.

   Add vanilla and nuts.

   Drop by teaspoon on wax paper.
