  • 1/2 c. white Karo
  • 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 2 beaten egg whites
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Bring first three ingredients to a boil.

    Cook to hard-crack stage.

    Pour slowly into egg whites beaten with cream of tartar. Beat until stiff.

    Add nuts and vanilla.

    Drop by teaspoon on wax paper.
