- 2 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. white corn syrup
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 egg whites
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Mix sugar, corn syrup and water thoroughly, then cook until it forms a medium ball when dropped in cold water (240°).

2Pour 2/3 of syrup slowly over beaten egg whites, beating constantly.

3Cook the other 1/3 of syrup until it forms a very firm ball (255°) then beat it slowly into the first mixture, beating constantly until creamy.

4Add vanilla and nuts and drop onto waxed paper or pour into greased dish.

5Cut in squares when cool.
