- 3/4 c. white corn syrup
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 beaten egg whites
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Cook the first 3 ingredients until it forms a medium soft ball when dropped in cold water.

2Pour 2/3 of the syrup slowly over the egg whites.

3Beat constantly.

4Cook remaining 1/3 of syrup mixture until it forms a very firm ball.

5Beat it slowly into first mixture, beating constantly, until creamy.

6Add the vanilla and nuts.

7Drop on wax paper.
