- 4 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. white corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 c. water
- pinch of salt
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 4 egg whites
- 1/2 lb. pecans
Directions

1Cook sugar, syrup, water, vinegar and salt to 262° or very firm ball stage.

2Beat slowly into well beaten egg whites.

3Add nuts and vanilla when mixture begins to thicken.

4Drop by spoonfuls on heavy waxed paper.

5Store in an airtight container.
