  • 3 c. brown sugar, dissolved in 1 c. boiling water
  • 3/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 2 stiffly beaten egg whites
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts

Directions

    Let sugar, water and syrup cook slowly until it strings.

    Pour on egg whites to which vinegar has been added.
  3. 3
    Beat until it is stiff enough to stand when dropped on a dish.
  4. 4
    Add nuts and pour out.
