- 3 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. Karo syrup
- 3/4 c. water
- 3 egg whites
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Boil sugar, syrup and water until mixture makes a firm (candied) ball; test in cold water.

2Beat egg whites until stiff. Pour hot syrup slowly over beaten whites and continue beating until mixture begins to turn glossy and thick. Add vanilla and nuts.

3Pour in a greased pan. Cut when cool.

4(Use a large bowl to beat egg whites.)
