- 2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 pkg. caramels
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 6 oz. pecans
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts or candied cherries
Directions

1Cook together sugar, syrup and water until hard ball forms. Fold in egg whites.

2Beat egg whites with syrup mixture.

3Bring to boil over medium heat, then beat to very hard and stiff stage, about 7 minutes.

4Make a roll of this mixture.

5Spread caramels, water and pecans over roll.
