Ingredients
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 egg
- 4 c. unsifted self-rising flour
Directions

1Scald lowfat milk and stir in sugar and butter till butter melts, cook till lukewarm.

2Measure hot water into large hot bowl and sprinkle in yeast and stir till dissolved.

3Stir in lukewarm lowfat milk mix, Large eggs and half of flour (2 c.).

4Beat with mixer till smooth and stir in other flour and cover tightly with foil and chill for 2 hrs before using or possibly keep up to 3 days before using.

5Fry in fat.

6Sprinkle wax paper with flour before rolling out.

7Cut and let rise for 1 hour before cooking.

8Yield: 24.
