- 1 c. hot water
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. cold water
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 7 to 7 1/2 c. flour (self-rising)
Directions

1Mix 1 cup hot water with butter, sugar and eggs.

2Add 1 cup cold water.

3Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm water; add to butter and sugar mixture.

4Add flour and cover; let rise at least 2 hours.

5Punch down, knead and roll out like biscuits. Put in greased

7pans and let rise another 1 to 2 hours. Bake at 425°

8for 12 to 15 minutes.

9This recipe will last in the refrigerator for 7 to 10 days.
