- 2 teaspoons salt
Directions

1Soak the rice and dal separately in slightly warm water for 2 to 8 hours.

2Grind separately to a smooth paste and mix in a large vessel with salt.

3Mix thoroughly (use blender if possible).

4Ferment for 12 hours.
