  • 1 c. margarine or butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 c. flour, sifted
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 4 c. sliced, peeled apples

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Beat in the eggs. Sift all of the dry ingredients together and gradually beat into the butter/sugar mixture.

    Fold in the apples.

    Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake 45 minutes at 350°.
