- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. wheat germ
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 c. finely chopped apples
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1 c. apple juice
- 1/3 c. oil
- 1 egg, beaten
Directions

1Heat oven to 400°. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. In large bowl, combine first 6 ingredients. Add apples and raisins. Stir in apple juice, oil and eggs until moistened. Spoon batter into muffin cups, filling 3/4 full.

2Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.

3Immediately remove from pans. Serve warm.
