- 2 c. frozen pitted tart cherries
- 1 c. frozen pitted dark sweet cherries
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 1/3 Tbsp. quick-cooking tapioca
- pastry for 2-crust pie
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°.

2Thaw cherries; drain, reserving juices. Mix sugar, tapioca and cornstarch in saucepan; add 2/3 cup reserved tart cherry juice and 1/3 cup reserved sweet cherry juice.

4Cook over high heat until thickened; cool.
