- 1 c. butter or oleo
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 to 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
- 1 c. butterscotch chips
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
Directions

1Mix together the butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla.

2Add eggs; beat well.

3Blend in flour and soda.

4Add chips and nuts. This makes a stiff dough and is hard to stir.

5Form the dough into small balls, about 1 or 1 1/2-inch.

6Place on lightly floured, ungreased cookie sheet.

7Bake at 300° to 350° for 8 to 10 minutes, until very lightly browned.

8Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet.

9Cool completely before storing.
