Ingredients
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. soft butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1/4 c. warm water
Directions

1In double boiler over hot, not boiling water, melt 1/2 cup of the chocolate morsels; let cool.

2Sift flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.

3In mixing bowl, beat butter, sugar and egg until light and fluffy.

4Add slowly the melted chocolate and 1/4 cup warm water.

5Beat in flour mixture just until combined.

6Stir in remaining chocolate pieces and nuts.

7Refrigerate dough 30 minutes before dropping by teaspoon onto baking sheets.

8Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes.
