   Stir together all ingredients.

   Knead until it forms a medium stiff smooth dough.

   Add more flour or water, if needed.

   For color; work in dabs of paste food coloring.

   For white dough:

   Mix in white acrylic paint.

   Store in refrigerator until ready.

   Place flour on a waxed paper covered surface.

   Roll out dough to 1/2-inch thick.

    Dip cookie cutters in flour and cut out shapes.

    Dry in 325° oven for 1 to 2 hours or until shapes are hard to the touch. Melt paraffin in double boiler.

    Using slotted spoon dip each shape in wax.

    Transfer to wire racks over newspaper.
