- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Mix sugar and eggs.

2Add milk and beat thoroughly.

3Stir in remaining ingredients; mix lightly.

4Toss dough onto a floured board and roll out until it is one third of an inch thick.

5Cut with doughnut cutter.

6Fry in deep fat, turning to brown both sides.

7Makes 3 dozen.
