- 2 doves per serving
- 1 pkg. dry sour cream mix or small carton sour cream
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. oregano
- dash of black pepper
- 1/2 c. red wine
Directions

1Soak doves in salt water about 2 hours.

2Mix sour cream, soup and seasonings.

3Arrange doves in casserole.

4Pour soup mixture over doves.

5Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until tender.

6Pour wine over doves about 10 minutes before done.

7Quail can be substituted for doves.
