- 1 cup cherries, dried tart
- 4 cups apples
- 1 cup sugar granulated
- 1/4 cup flour, all-purpose
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon ground
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 x pie shell (9 inch)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

2In a large mixing bowl, combine cherries and apple slices.

3In a small bowl, stir together sugar, flour and cinnamon.

4Pour over fruit mixture; toss to blend.

5Let stand 15 minutes.

6Turn fruit mixture into pastry-lined 9-inch pie pan; dot with butter.

7Cover with top crust which has slits cut in it; seal and flute.

8Bake in a preheated 425 degree F. oven 40 to 50 minutes, or until edge is golden brown and apples are tender.
