  • 3/4 lb. butter (3 sticks)
  • 3 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt (little less)
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 lb. sugar (2 1/4 c.)
  • 4 eggs

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time.

    Beat well. Gradually add flour and salt into batter.

    Drop by teaspoon onto a cookie sheet, ungreased.

    Bake at 325° for 12 minutes or until edges brown.
