Ingredients

  • 3 lb. lamb scraps for stew, in 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, coarsely chopped
  • 3 to 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c. white wine
  • 1 (8 oz.) can green chili
  • 1 c. brown rice
  • sufficient amount of water to cook rice (see rice pkg. directions), plus 1 c.
  • 1 bottle Scotch, or other favorite beverage

    Using a large frying pan, brown lamb scraps in oil, and transfer to crock-pot or large casserole.

    Leave oil and drippings in pan.
