- 1 (12 oz.) bottle Heinz chili sauce
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 small onion, diced (optional)
- green or red sweet pepper, diced small (optional)
- 3 lb. party sausages or party wieners

2Combine whiskey, chili sauce, brown sugar, onion and peppers.

3Bring to a boil and let simmer for about 1 hour.

4Refrigerate overnight.

5About 3 hours prior to serving, put sausages in crock-pot and pour sauce over.

6Heat until sauce cooks through meat (about 3 hours).
