  • 1 large can cherry pie filling
  • 1 box white or yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick margarine
  • chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 2 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Blend cream cheese with milk.

    Add sugar and enough additional milk (if necessary) to make frosting of spreading consistency. Add vanilla.

    Brush all crumbs off cake and frost.
