  • 1 can Comstock cherry pie filling (I prefer tart cherries)
  • 1 can Dole crushed pineapple
  • 1 pkg. cake mix (I use yellow)
  • 2 sticks melted butter
  • 2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • coconut if desired

Directions

    Spread cherry pie filling and crushed pineapple over bottom of pan (9 x 13 x 2-inch).

    Sprinkle dry cake mix over cherries and pineapple.

    Drizzle melted butter over top.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour or more until crispy and brown.
