Dump Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pineapple (don't drain)
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 white or yellow cake mix
  • 1 c. chopped nuts and/or coconut
  • 2 sticks margarine or butter

Directions

    Use 9 x 13-inch ungreased pan.

    Spread pineapple over pan. Spread cherry pie filling over pineapple.

    Sprinkle dry cake mix over fruit.

    Sprinkle chopped nuts and/or coconut over cake mix. Do not mix.

    Cut margarine into chunks and cover mixture with it. Bake 55 minutes at 350°.

    If top is not crispy, turn oven up to 400° and bake 5 to 10 minutes longer.

    Watch carefully as it can burn easily.

    Cool and serve.
