- 1 can crushed pineapple, undrained (optional ingredient)
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 1/2 sticks margarine
Directions

1Dump cherry pie filling in ungreased 9 x 13 inch glass pan. Dump crushed pineapple with juice on top of cherries. Spread cake mix [dry] on top of fruit. Slice margarine; lay slices in rows on top of cake mix. Bake at 350 until golden brown, 30 to 45 minutes. Serve with Cool Whip or ice cream.
