  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted

Directions

    Mix flour, baking powder and salt.

    Beat egg, milk and butter together; add to flour mixture.

    Stir just until blended.

    Drop 6 to 8 dumplings from tablespoon into hot broth.

    Cover tight and return to boiling.

    Reduce heat; don't lift cover.

    Simmer 12 to 15 minutes.
