  • 4 c. apples, peeled and cut up
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. nuts
  • 1/2 c. raisins (that have been sprinkled with flour)
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Put apples in a large bowl; add beaten eggs to apples (the eggs keep the apples from turning dark).

    Add oil and sugar; mix well. Add dry ingredients, nuts and raisins next to last; last add vanilla.

    Mix well.

    Bake for 1 hour at 325° in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
