- 4 tart apples
- 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. oil
- 2 Tbsp. milk
Directions

1Peel and core apples.

2Cut each apple in 8 parts.

3Sift flour, salt and sugar into an 8 x 8-inch pan.

4Add oil and milk; whip with a fork.

5Pat out to cover bottom of pan and push dough up along sides about 1-inch.

6Arrange apples over pastry and sprinkle streusel over top.

7Bake at 375° for 40 to 50 minutes.
