Dutch Bean Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 can chick peas
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can green beans
  • 1 can yellow beans
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1/4 c. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • sliced green pepper to taste
  • sliced onion to taste

Directions

    Drain beans of juices.

    Place in a bowl and mix.

    Slice green pepper and onion.

    Add to mixture.

    Mix remaining ingredients into a small pot and heat over low heat.

    Allow sugar to melt.

    Remove from heat.

    Let cool.

    When cool, pour over bean salad.

    Mix thoroughly.

    Chill in refrigerator for approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
