  • 1 stick sweet butter (4 oz.)
  • 1 stick margarine (4 oz.)
  • 1 egg yolk (reserve the white)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 3 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

    Blend thoroughly all ingredients in a Cuisinart.

    Pour into pie plate for baking.

    Coat all dough surfaces with reserved egg white.

    Bake in 375° oven for approximately 1/2 hour.

    Check carefully that it does not burn.

    Serve at room temperature.
