- 1/2 tsp. cornstarch

- oil for deep frying
- confectioners sugar
Directions

1Blend egg and milk in a bowl; add next 6 dry ingredients and mix well.

2Heat 1 1/2 inches of oil to 375° in skillet.

3Pour batter into funnel with 1/2-inch spout; drizzle batter into hot oil in 6-inch spirals.

4Deep fry for 1 1/2 minutes or until golden brown on both sides.
