- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. ground veal
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 Tbsp. bread crumbs
- 1 beaten egg (to bind mixture)
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Form into small balls and saute quickly in 2 tablespoons of hot oil.

2When meatballs are sauteed, put them all in skillet. Add 2 tablespoons tomato puree and 1 cup beef stock or bouillon. Simmer for 15 minutes.

3Let stand for several hours or overnight. Just before serving, reheat, but do not boil.

4Add 1 cup sour cream.
