- 2 lb. lean chuck steak, cubed
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 bunch carrots, sliced like coins
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 can sweet peas
- 2 cans tomatoes
- 1/4 c. quick cooking tapioca
- 4 whole cloves
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Heat oven to 275°.

2Put all ingredients in Dutch oven or covered casserole.

3Stir until well mixed.

4Cover and bake for 4 hours.

5Do not disturb until the 4 hours are up.
