- 8 slices bread (Pepperidge Farm)
- 6 eggs
- 2 c. milk (part half and half if wanted)
- 1/2 stick melted butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 4 oz. pkg. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Directions

1Remove crust and cube bread.

2In a bowl, combine eggs, which have been beaten in a blender, with milk, butter, salt and pepper. Grease one-quart casserole.

3Alternate layers of bread, eggs and cheese with last layer being cheese.

4Refrigerate overnight.

5Bake one hour, uncovered, in oven heated to 325°.
