- 1 c. shredded coconut
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 box German chocolate or Swiss chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 c. margarine, softened
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 (16 oz.) box confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Spread coconut on bottom of greased 13 x 11-inch pan.

3Sprinkle chopped nuts on top of coconut.

4Prepare cake mix as directed on box.

5Pour over coconut and pecans. Combine margarine, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in a bowl and mix well. Drop this mixture by teaspoonfuls on top of cake batter. Do not stir.

6Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
