- 1 (8 1/4 ounce) can crushed pineapple, packed in syrup
- 23 cup sugar
- 12 cup water
- 34 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 (12 ounce) package cranberries (3C)
- 12 cup chopped walnuts
Directions

1In a medium saucepan combine the undrained pinapple, sugar, water, and ginger.

2Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.

3Add cranberries.

4Bring to boiling; reduce heat.

5Cook and stir 3 or 4 minutes or until cranberies pop.

6Transfer to an airtight container.

7Cover and chill for up to 3 days.

8Stir in walnuts right before filling containers.

9They are best added at the last minute.
