- 1 c. creamed cottage cheese
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 pkg. quick rising dry yeast
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. golden raisins
Directions

1Heat cottage cheese to lukewarm.

2Add butter and eggs and mix together.

3Combine dry yeast with flour, sugar, salt and baking soda.

4Add flour mixture slowly to cottage cheese mix, beating well after each addition until dough is stiff.

5Dust raisins with flour; add to flour mixture.

6Cover bowl with a towel and let rise in a warm spot about 1 hour until doubled.

7Punch down and turn into a well-greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.

8Let rise again 40 minutes. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.

9Brush with soft butter. Sprinkle with a few pinches of salt.

10Cool 10 minutes in pan; complete cooling on a rack.
