Easy and Crispy Apple Pie

- 2 sheets Frozen puff pastry
- 1 Apple
- 30 grams Granulated sugar
- 10 grams Unsalted butter
- 1 Cinnamon
- 1 Whole egg (for glazing)
Directions

1Defrost the frozen puff pastry.

2Preheat the oven to 200C.

3Slice the apple and put into a pot.

4Sprinkle granulated sugar on top.

5Stir-fry over medium heat until the water has evaporated.

6Turn off the heat, add butter, and mix.

7If you are using cinnamon, add it here.

8Roll out one of the pastry sheets into a 15 x 15 cm square, and spread the Step 3 filling.

9Brush with the beaten egg to stick the edges.

10Roll out the other puff pastry the same as the previous one, and make cuts.

11Place the Step 5 puff pastry on top, and press down the edges with a fork.

12Brush on plenty of the beaten egg to glaze.

13Bake in the oven preheated to 200C for 20 minutes, then it's done.
