  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 (20 oz.) can apples
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Melt margarine in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Combine flour, baking powder, 1 cup of the sugar and milk in a bowl; mix well. Pour into baking dish.

    Arrange apple slices on top of mixture. Sprinkle with mixture of cinnamon and remaining 1/2 cup of sugar. Pour 1/2 cup of water over top.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
